On a beautiful winter day in January, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of three guests from Malaysia for a Teine snowboard private lesson. With clear skies and mild temperatures, the conditions were perfect for first-time snowboarders.

Teine Olympia, located conveniently within Sapporo City, offers a relaxed and beginner-friendly environment. We met our guests at the base area in the morning, where we began with a brief orientation and equipment check.

All three participants were snowboarding for the very first time, so we started with the basics: how to wear the gear properly, balance on the board, and how to fall safely. The gentle slopes of Teine Olympia were ideal for building confidence step by step.

Personalized Private Lesson in English at Teine

During the private lesson, we worked closely with each guest to adjust their stance and balance. By mid-session, everyone was able to slide on gentle slopes and control their speed using their heel edge. Smiles and laughter filled the slopes as each rider gained more control and started enjoying the flow of snowboarding.

A Midday Break with Local Flavors

For lunch, we recommended the ski area’s local cafeteria, which offers warm Japanese dishes perfect for refueling before the afternoon session. After a short rest, we returned to the slopes with renewed energy.

Progress and Confidence

By the end of the lesson, each participant could ride down a beginner slope without assistance — a huge achievement for just one day on snow. We captured some fun moments and group photos with the snow-covered mountains in the background.
